In March, Master Zhen Chan was invited
to Indonesia and Singapore for a visit
and sermons.

the monastery.
In April, the premier of Portugal
visited the monastery.
In May, Master Zhen Chan led a delegation
of China Buddhist Association to Thailand
for a ceremony of the ¡°Plenilune Day¡±
performed in Bangkok.
The elder sister
of Thai Emperor visited the monastery.
Master Zhen Chan
was elected vice president of Shanghai
Charity Foundation.
In July, Master Zhen Chan was invited
to visit Singapore and Malaysia.
In August, Master Zhen Chan was invited
to visit seven European countries
for a period of 22 days, to France,
Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands,
Belgium, Britain and Luxembourg, and
worshiped in more than ten Buddhist
monasteries.
In September, British
Canterbury Archbishop visited the
monastery.
