2001

In September, Elder Master Ren Jun from USA visited the monastery and gave a lecture of Buddha's sin and blessing retribution sutra.

The monastery performed the opening ceremony of Jue Qun (means Enlightenment) Institute (the original advanced class for monks, advanced class for young lay Buddhists and Buddhist music class combined), with Master Jue Xing as the dean.

A Delegation of National Tibetan Buddhism visited the monastery.

In October, a 42-member delegation from the Mei Cun Meditation Center in Plum Village in France led by Zen-Master Thich Nhat Hanh visited the monastery.

A group of 3 members led by the minister of South Korean Foreign Trade Ministry, who came to Shanghai for APEC, visited the monastery.

A 27-member delegation from Japan Xiangguo Monastery visited the monastery.

In November, the friendship delegation of Jinjing District of Republic of Korea visited the monastery.

In December, the whole staff of Thai consulate in Shanghai and some Thai friends in Shanghai came to the monastery for a religious ceremony.

2002

In January, Mr & Mrs Bawa Jain, the secretary-general of the Millenium peace World Peace Summit of Religious and Spiritual leaders paid the visit to the monastery.
