2002

In October, the monastery invited the Education and Training Center of Shanghai Socialist College to start “computer training class for the monks and staff of the Jade Buddha Monastery.”

A delegation from the Xiangguo Monastery in Japan visited the monastery.

The Tibetan Patriotic delegation of 68 persons visited the monastery.

In November, the monastery held the grand ceremony to celebrate the 120th Anniversary of the monastery and the symposium of “city monasteries and Buddhism in human world”.

In December, Master Yong Xing, vice chairman of China Buddhist Association and chairman of Buddhist Association of Henan Province headed the delegation to visit the monastery.

Signing and exchanging ceremony for the Juequn Series was held in the monastery.

2003

In January, a 13-person delegation of from Australian Family and Community Service visited the monastery.

In February, Master Jue Xing went to Beijing to attend CPPCC.

In March, the branch of the monastery, Baoguo Temple held “The Ceremony for Completion of Hall of the Deva-Kings and exhibition of the Sculptures and Paintings of Buddha”.

The monastery held the sprinkling and cleaning ceremony for the starting construction of the Juequn Building.
