In 1990 the opening ceremony was held for the great Sleeping Jade Buddha in the Sleeping Buddha Hall. In 1992, the 110th anniversary of the founding of the monastery was celebrated. In November 1995, the ceremony of opening the eyes took place for over ten thousand jade Buddhas and gold or gilded Buddhas, celebrating the 80th birthday of Master Zhen Chan and the ceremony of his charity donation at the same time.

In this period, different monastic disciplines and regulations were gradually restored and perfected. The masters who were forced to leave during ¡°the Cultural Revolution¡± were invited back one by one, now there are over 100 monks in the monastery. The monastery also restored its tradition of four divisions of Guesthouse, Meditation Hall, Storehouse and the Acolyte's Room.
